Is Cinderella's Royal Table Really Worth It?

Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the most popular restaurants in Disney World. Although it's an exceptional dining location, it can be a bit pricy and hard to get into. So, many guests want to know.... "Is it worth my time and money"?

Well, although it isn't a hard question to answer, it isn't exactly easy either. In order for you to determine whether or not this restaurant is worth your money, let's take a look at the pros and cons...

Pros

Ambiance - Cinderella's Royal table has an elegant feel to it. There are soaring ceilings, warm trim and an awesome view of Fantasyland. No doubt about it, you will definitely feel like royalty here.

Photos - Included with the price of your meal is a phDisneyworldoto package. A souvenir picture will be taken of your party in the restaurant lobby. The photo packet consists of four 4x6 prints, one 6x8 photo and one 6x8 photo of the castle, presented in a Cinderella themed folder. Parties of 1-6 get one photo packet, parties of 7-11 get two photo packets, parties of 12-15 get three photo packets and parties of 16 or more get six photo packages.

Characters - Cinderella and friends happily meet and greet with you as you dine like a king or queen. All the characters make sure that you get the best treatment throughout your dining experience.

Food - There's a nice selection of menu items that you have to choose from. Breakfast is an all-you-care-to-eat while lunch and dinner is fixed price. Menu items include sandwiches, pan-seared salmon, BLT's and more!

Cons

Crowds - Because Cinderella's Royal Table is so popular, at times it can and will get busy. The more guests there are, the more likely that the service will move a bit slower. I've never experienced Cinderella's Royal Table at its down time and not so sure if they've even had a down time before. Everyone wants to dine here, so just take into consideration the amount of traffic you'll have to deal with.

Character Change - The characters are subject to change at anytime. This means that you are not guaranteed to see Cinderella. So because you have to pay in advance to dine at this restaurant, if you arrive and there's no Cinderella, then you've taken a loss. However, I don't think you have much to worry about on this. The many times I've been there, Cinderella has always showed.

Fairy Godmother Only - If you decide to dine during dinner, only the Fairy Godmother will be available. Dinner time at Cinderella's Royal Table is less of a character dining experience and that's why Cinderella is not available. Again, Cinderella's Royal Table is very popular, so if a guest isn't able to get breakfast or lunch with the princess, then they are going to want dinner. Basically guests will take whatever they can get into in order to see the princess. Because Cinderella is not offered during dinner, guests are at a disadvantage. Keep this in mind when booking your reservations.

Now that you know the pros and cons to dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, you can determine whether or not it's worth your time and money. In my opinion... it's definitely worth it.
